Hi, I'm Yev!
I started in finance, then found my way into design almost by accident — trying out Canva during my master's in Italy, and realizing I liked it more than anything else I was studying. After some freelance work, I moved into complex B2B SaaS products, where I found what I love: digging into a real problem and figuring out why something isn't working before I ever open Figma.
Lately that curiosity has pulled me into a new way of working — building functional prototypes directly with AI coding tools, connected to my design system, before handing things off to developers. I'm still piloting it, but I genuinely enjoy it: there's something satisfying about handing over something that already works exactly as intended, instead of a static screen and a hope.
Outside of work, I live in Ancona, a small city on Italy's coast, with my dog — who made the whole trip with me from Ukraine — and a rescue cat I found in my garden. I'm into true crime documentaries, feeding the stray cats in my neighborhood, and pretty much any excuse for an aperitivo by the water.
